Sonntagsmalerei am Kanal
mit Ida Wilde als Gastgeberin

Während der Sommerausstellung The Swan Song Operetta wird einer unserer Charaktere, Hobbes, an seiner Landschaftsmalereiausstellung weiterarbeiten.

Seit 2013 veranstaltet Ida Wilde Sonntagsmalereiausflüge für Hobbes an den Kanälen in Berlin und Brüssel.
Helft uns, das Werk von Hobbes fortzusetzen, dabei die eigenen Malereikenntnisse zu erweitern, die Nachbarschaft anders zu beleben und zu betrachten.

Bitte begleitet uns an den Sonntagen, probt Landschaftsinnovation und geteilte Autorenschaft. Wir werden für Hobbes malen!

Treffpunkt: Sonntags 12 Uhr in der nGbK
Termine: Sonntag, 9., 16., 23., und 30. Juli sowie 6. August.
Zeit: 12 bis 16 Uhr
Mitzubringen: Begeisterung und Entschlossenheit, öffentlich zu malen oder zu aquarellieren. Keine Vorkenntnise nötig.
Themen: Stadtlandschaft, Gentrifizierung, versteckte Gärten, Sonnenuntergänge
Techniken: Aquarell, Acryl, Pigmente mischen, Malgrund vorbereiten, Zeichnen, Farbpalette, Bildaufbau, Konvention und Innovation, geteilte Autorenschaft.
Materialien: Bringt die Malmaterialien mit, die ihr habt, Pinsel, Papier oder eine Leinwand oder Pappkarton, ein leeres Glas mit Deckel.
Kleidung: Zweckmäßige Kleidung für draußen. Wenn ihr mit Farben arbeitet, bringt einen Kittel mit oder ein altes T-Shirt, das schmutzig werden kann.

* Der Workshop ist umsonst
* Wir werden etwas Material haben, wenn ihr also wenig oder nichts habt, macht euch keine Gedanken, kommt trotzdem!
* Wenn das Wetter mitspielt, werden wir langsam durch die Nachbarschaft wandern, um Motive zu finden.
Wenn ihr Schwierigkeiten beim Laufen habt, oder einen Rollstuhl benutzt, sagt uns doch bitte vorher Bescheid, und wir planen die Route gemeinsam.

Sunday Painting for Hobbes on the Kanal

During the summer exhibition of “The Swan Song” Operetta, at nGbK, Hobbes (a beloved character) will continue diligently working on a Landscape exhibition, inspired by the paintings of the Highwaymen.
Ida Wilde has been hosting Sunday painting expeditions for Hobbes since 2013, on the kanals in Berlin and Brussels, Acre’s seaside and around Kreuzberg. Come help us to expand Hobbes’ oevre, while expanding your own painting skills, inhabiting and looking at the neighborhood in a new way.

Meet at: 13:00h at nGbK (drop in)
Date: Sunday 09, 16, 23, 30 JULY, and 06 AUGUST.
Time: 12:00-16:00h
Requirements: Enthusiasm and willingness to paint or watercolor in public.
No experience necessary.
Subjects: Urban landscape, Gentrification, Hidden Gardens, Sunsets.
Techniques: Aquarelle, Acrylic, mixing pigments, preparing ground, drawing, color pallete, composition, bravery and convention, sharing authorship.
Materials: Bring any painting materials, brushes, paper or 1 canvas, or cardboard box, 1 empty glass jar with top.
Clothing: Dress appropriately for outdoors. If you are working in paint, bring a smock or old shirt that can get messy.

* This workshop is free.
* We will have spare materials, so don’t worry if you have little or none, just come!
* If the weather is fine, we will be walking (slowly) in the neighborhood to find a view.
* If you have trouble walking or use a wheelchair, please notify us before the workshop and we will plan the best route together.
